Irish Music: Seán Heely & Josh Dukes

Seán Heely: U.S National Scottish fiddle and Gàidhlig singing champion & Josh Dukes:  multi-instrumentalist whose talents embrace the guitar, bouzouki, bodhran, flute, and tin whistle will entertain with:

• Traditional Irish Folk Songs: These include classics like “Danny Boy,” “The Wild Rover,” and “Whiskey in the Jar.” These songs often tell stories of Irish history, love, and folklore.
• Jigs and Reels: These are fast-paced instrumental tunes that are perfect for dancing. Instruments like the fiddle, tin whistle, accordion, and bodhrán (a type of drum) are commonly used.
• Ballads: Emotional and often slower songs that convey deep feelings and stories. Examples include “The Fields of Athenry” and “Raglan Road.”
• Pub Songs: These are fun, sing-along songs that everyone can join in on, such as “Molly Malone” and “Galway Girl.”
