He is the author of “National Geographic Complete National Parks of Europe” and “Always Ireland.” He is currently writing “National Geographic Complete UNESCO World Heritage Sites.” Kavanagh is also an expert lecturer for National Geographic Expeditions, Ireland: Tales and Treasures of the Emerald Isle.
