Science on Tap: The History of Abused Drugs

One hundred years ago, heroin, cocaine and marijuana were legal in the United States. What changed? Join us on Tuesday, May 7 for the next installment of Loudoun County Public Library‘s Science on Tap series at Old Ox Brewery, Mike Hitchcock, a senior forensic chemist for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, will cover the history of abused drugs, including the “legal big 3” — alcohol, tobacco and caffeine.
