Our Cooper’s Cloak Series is a variant on the Drunkard’s Cloak of Medieval Europe – where drunkards were paraded around town wearing a barrel as clothing. Our Cooper is not a drunkard but rather a connoisseur who enjoys the refinement of a thoughtfully constructed barrel-aged beer. Friday, December 21st we will be releasing two Barrel-Aged American Barleywines to the Taproom.
Cooper’s Cloak Bourbon Barrel-Aged: This American Barleywine features strong and complex notes of dark fruit, warm vanilla, and rich toffee.
Cooper’s Cloak Brandy Barrel-Aged: This American Barleywine features bright notes of peach, warm vanilla, toffee, and a hint of cherry.
