Cold days are on the way and our BS (Belgian Specialty Ale) will be ready to help keep you warm. Head brewer Kenny Allen explains that this rich, malty beer requires a lot of malted barley to achieve its deep dark color without the roasty taste characteristic of some dark beers. Sweet orange peel at the end of the fermentation process gives a delightful hint of fruit. At 7.8% ABV, this is the highest alcohol content beer Old Ox has brewed to date.
