How does the Civil War influence our history and lives? Don Woodruff, history teacher at The Hill School, will entertain and inform on the relevance of the Civil War today. And since this is happening at a brewery, he begins with the story of how lager beer influenced the outcome of the war.  Don will highlight statistics of the conflict and their relationship to today with regard to human, social, and economic costs of the war and its impact on the 19th century (i.e., Reconstruction). Enjoy a history lesson while sipping a lager (bet you never had this much fun in history class!).
