02.10.2023 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We’re saluting Black History Month with an evening of stories and live music!

Voices from the Past: Black History in Loudoun County

Explore Loudoun history through the lives of some of its black residents and communities. From the Revolutionary War to the 20th century Supreme Court, black Loudouners have shaped the course of local, regional, and even national history. Join Anne Marie Chirieleison, Executive Director of the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum, at this engaging presentation to learn more.

Live Music featuring JP Jones

JP Jones grew up in Lucketts, VA and still calls Loudoun County his home. At age ten, he began teaching himself to play guitar using books and records. Since then, music has been a major part of his life—JP has an appreciation for all genres, including Soul, R&B, Pop, Classic Rock, Country, and the Blues. You can hear these diverse influences in his vocal and guitar style.
