Dr. Joseph Rizzo, Executive Director of the Loudoun Museum, examines the Confederate Army’s 8th Virginia Infantry, a military unit largely composed of men from Loudoun County. The talk will cover the regiment’s history, with a focus on the experiences, actions and memories of soldiers who took part in Pickett’s Charge at Gettysburg.
