Join us on Friday, April 13 for the release of 15 Shades of Grisette. This special collaboration beer was brewed on International Women’s Day at Solace Brewing Company by the members of the Pink Boots Society – DC Chapter.

Pink Boots Society is a group founded to enhance and advance the careers of women in the beer industry. This world-wide collaboration day began with a desire by Pink Boots members to take part in International Women’s Day in order to bring attention to the contributions of women in the beer industry.

Individual chapters got together to brew a beer and proceeds are donated back to Pink Boots. Collaboration brews occurred in 46 states and in 10 countries with over 240 registered brew teams. Money raised will go to fund Pink Boots Society and all of the scholarships that it offers.

The beer will be released at Old Ox on Friday evening and then available at the participating brewery locations and select retailers throughout Northern Virginia and DC starting Saturday, April 14.

A special thanks to our sponsors who generously donated supplies for this collaboration project. The grain bill was donated by Country Malt Group and yeast was donated by Jasper Yeast. An exclusive hop blend was also created with YCH Hops, who will be donating a portion of their proceeds to Pink Boots.
